Britani Bryson enjoyed a legendary career with Goldey-Beacom's women's basketball team and is back to help her program including many former teammates as the program's newest assistant coach.

Bryson gave her all from 2014-18 as one of the nation's most dominant frontcourt players in addition to her overall team leadership. A gifted athlete, she had the ability to alter the game's outcome at any point and had many opposing coaches game-planning around her.

All of this resulted in her being picked second team All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference in 2017 and 2018 in addition to being tabbed third team all-league in 2016.

Her career also was highlighted by becoming the first player in the program's history to reach 1,000 career points, 1,000 career rebounds and 100 career blocks. Bryson ended her career third in school history with 1,482 points, second with 1,071 rebounds, second with 604 field goals, third with 143 blocks and seventh with 272 free throws.

Bryson also closed with 45 career double-doubles, which included 15 in 2016-17 and 12 the prior season.

"Britani was an outstanding student-athlete during her time at Goldey-Beacom College," head coach Bethann Burke said. "We are thrilled Britani has decided to return to our program as an assistant coach and help impact our current student-athletes."

Goldey-Beacom opens its 2019-20 campaign November 8 against Le Moyne, beginning at 5:00 pm in Philadelphia.
