Goldey-Beacom falls twice, 5-1 and 13-1, in an out of conference match up against Kutztown in Wilmington, DE. 

In game one, Kutztown took the lead in the top of the first when Sara Keeny score off a throwing error by the catcher. Tamara Jennings added another run in the top of the first to put the Golden Bears up 2-0. 

Sara Keeny added another run for Kutztown in the top of the third inning to give Kutztown a 3-0- lead. 

Goldey-Beacom closed the gap to two when Kylie Quirk (Newark, Del.) scored off of Zoe Lockwood's (Chesapeake City, Md.) ground out to third. 

Kutztown went on to score two more runs in the top of the seventh inning to win game one 5-1. 

Amber Brugger (9-5) pitched 5.1 innings with two strike outs for Kutztown. 

Kasey Goshorn (Salisbury, Md.) went 2-for-3 in game one for the Lightning. 

Kutztown carried their momentum over into game two and dominated. The Golden Bears took the early lead going up 2-0 in the top of the first inning. 

Kutztown added nine more runs in the top of the second innings for an 11-0 lead. 

Despite being down, Goldey-Beacom continued to battle. Jaeda Henriquez (Hoboken, N.J.) scored in the bottom of the third inning to make it 11-1.

Kutztown went on to add two more runs to win game two 13-1.

J. Henriquez went 2-for-2 with one run for the Lightning in game two. 

Goldey-Beacom is back in action on Saturday for a doubleheader against Nyack at 2pm in Nyack, NY.
