Men’s Basketball Rolls to 92-61 Victory Over University of the Sciences

Goldey-Beacom got back to its winning ways by using an explosive first half in cruising to a 92-61 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference win over University of the Sciences at the Jones Center in Wilmington, DE.

The Lightning, who scored the game's first 11 points, rolled to a 53-32 halftime lead by shooting 64 percent (21-of-33) from the field, 9-of-14 from 3-point range and forcing 12 turnovers.  Junior J'von Winslow (Allentown, PA) continued his torrid play with 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting that included making all five of his 3-point attempts.  Junior Kyle Elliot (Rahway, NJ) netted 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting.

The second half was more of the same as Goldey-Beacom used a 13-5 run to gain a 66-39 cushion with 13:56 to play.  Elliot and freshman Jesiah West (Elizabeth, NJ) netted four points apiece in that time.
