Goldey-Beacom falls to Concordia (NY) 3-0 (20-25, 15-25, 23-25) in their last Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match up of the year in Wilmington, DE. 
Goldey-Beacom and Concordia (NY) battled keeping the score within three but Concordia (NY) started pulling away increasing their lead to seven. Goldey-Beacom had 15 kills to Concordia's (NY) 11. 
Set two also went in Concordia (NY) favor despite the Lightning keeping the score close at the beginning of the set. Concordia (NY) had 12 kills to Goldey-Beacom's eight. 
Set three was well fought by both teams. Concordia (NY) had match point but Goldey-Beacom continued the fight. The Lightning went on a five point scoring streak to get the game within a point but Concordia (NY) was able to get the last point to take all three sets. This win helped Concordia (NY) clinch a spot in the CACC Tournament. 
Sophomore Shayla Boyce (Somerdale, N.J.) had 17 kills and eight digs, sophomore Autumn Spendlove (Las Vegas, Nev.) had 30 assists and nine digs, and Neyshlian Roman Concepcion (Toa Baja, PR.) had 24 digs for the Lightning. 
Madison Gardner had nine kills. Militza Hostos had 21 assists and Nelly Diaz had 22 digs for Concordia (NY). 
The Lightning had a growing season with a young squad. Junior Lindsay Przywara (WIlliamstown, NJ.) was name CoSIDA Academic All-District and reached 1,000 career kills and Spendlove got to 1,000 career assists. Goldey-Beacom looks forward to next season.
