Goldey-Beacom's impressive start to the 2019-20 athletics year saw five more student-athletes gain weekly honors from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

Sophomore Eduardo Coimbra (Curitiba, Brazil) was picked the Men's Soccer Player of the Week, junior Line Kristoffersen (Bergen, Norway) was tabbed the Women's Soccer Player of the Week, freshman Zach Landvik-Larsen (Stroudsburg, PA) was selected the Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, junior Lindsay Przywara (Williamstown, NJ) was named to the Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll and freshman Sara Edebo (Gothenburg, Sweden) was picked to the Women's Tennis Weekly Honor Roll.

Coimbra continued the tear he has been on since last spring, ending the week with two goals and two assists over two games.  He scored the deciding goal Saturday in the 83rd minute, lifting Goldey-Beacom to a huge 2-1 victory over Dominican (NY).  Coimbra also had a goal and two assists Wednesday, help the Lightning rally for a 3-1 triumph at Molloy.

Again helping put GBC among the nation's elite, Coimbra is eighth in the country with five assists, 29th with two game-winning goals, 33rd with 0.5 assists per game, 42nd with 13 points, 83rd with four goals and 85th with 1.3 points per match.  Goldey-Beacom (7-3, 4-0 CACC) is in second place in the CACC and is riding a five-game winning streak.

Kristoffersen had a week with three goals and an assist for seven points over two games.  In Saturday's 5-4 double-overtime triumph over Dominican, she scored twice that included a header to give GBC the lead in the 75th minute and added an assist.  Kristoffersen also scored in overtime Wednesday during Goldey-Beacom's 2-1 victory over New York Tech.

Kristoffersen has played solidly in her starting role at forward, sitting 17th in the nation with 1.0 goals per game, 20th with 2.36 points per contest, 20th with 19 points, 22nd with eight goals and 93rd with three assists.  GBC (4-2-2, 3-0-1) is tied for third in the conference and is unbeaten in its last five matches (4-0-1).

Landvik-Larsen closed 24th at the prestigious Don Cathcart Invitational, ending the 8,000-meter course in 26:36.11.  Landvik-Larsen this fall has notched two top-10 finishes for the Lightning, including a second-place showing September 20 at the GBC Fall Classic.

Przywara ended her week with 47 kills, 21 digs and a .259 hitting percentage over two matches.  She had 24 kills and 10 digs Wednesday against Georgian Court before recording 23 and 11 Saturday vs. Felician.
