Volleyball Drops a Pair at Ramfest



Goldey-Beacom played hard against a pair of solid squads, but was dealt 3-0 losses by both West Chester (13-25, 13-25, 8-25) and Ursuline (19-25, 14-25, 14-25) at Ramfest in West Chester, PA.
 
Versus West Chester, sophomore Shyanne Shank (Lebanon, PA) had four kills, senior Innocent Early (Newark, NJ) recorded three, junior Grace McCarthy (Middletown, DE) amassed six digs and freshman Olivia Florence (Glen Allen, VA) added seven assists for the Lightning.
 
Molly Grammer had eight kills and no errors for a .533 hitting percentage, Allie Duffy and Victoria Cruciani notched six kills, Jillian Grammer amassed 21 assists and Nick Yates recorded 15 digs for the Rams (3-0).
 
Against Ursuline, Early and McCarthy had five kills apiece with Florence notching 11 assists.  Senior Mackenzie Wilson (Wilmington, DE) posted nine digs and freshman Keelin McEleney (Conshohocken, PA) added eight for the Lightning (1-2).
 
Abbie Fabo recorded 12 kills and 10 digs, Katelyn Selleny had 24 assists with Sabrina Kinney getting 10 digs for the Arrows (2-1).
 
Goldey-Beacom is on the road Wednesday to visit Bowie State for a 7:00 pm start.
