Women's Tennis Claims 9-0 Victory Over Daemen

Lightning Earn Second Straight Shutout Victory

WILMINGTON, Del.
– For the second straight match, the Goldey-Beacom College women's tennis team used a complete team effort en route to earning a victory following a 9-0 non-conference win over Daemen College on Sunday afternoon.

The Lightning, who have won four straight regular season matches dating back to last year, allowed the Wildcats to win just three games in the entire match.

Post-Match Quotes: Goldey-Beacom Coach Joe Kissel
"We are very happy to get our second win of the season. It is always good to be able to have all 10 players on the team see action. I think we have very good depth but some players are dealing with injuries. The challenge for us going forward is to stay healthy."
