EAST MEADOW, N.Y. – The Goldey-Beacom College women's tennis team used a complete team effort to earn a 9-0 non-conference victory over Molloy College in the season opener for both teams at Eisenhower Park on Thursday afternoon.
After earning three consecutive 8-0 victories in the doubles matches, the Lightning secured the win by claiming straight set decisions in all six singles matches.
Four different players claimed a pair of victories in the match.
