Puentes Robinson Ties Career Singles Wins Record

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Senior Stephanie Puentes Robinson (Bogota, Colombia) tied the Goldey-Beacom College career singles wins record to lead the Lightning (3-0, 1-0) to their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference win of the season, an 8-1 victory over Holy Family University (1-3, 0-1) at the Holy Family Tennis Courts on Wednesday afternoon.

Puentes Robinson, who claimed a 6-1, 6-2 victory at number three singles, earned her 45th career singles win to match the school record set by Melanie Bonomo from 2009-13. Puentes Robinson has a 45-15 career singles record, marking the fifth-highest singles win percentage in school history.
