In the bottom of the fifth inning, the Devils added an insurance run when freshman utility player

The Devils claimed an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning of the second game when Badzgon hit an RBI single up the middle.
After adding a run in the third and fourth innings to increase the advantage to 3-0, the Devils scored five times in the bottom of the sixth inning to end the game by the eight-run rule. Granahan hit her second home run of the season with one out in the inning for a four-run edge before a double by junior infielder
