Box Score Philadelphia, Pa.- The Lightning women's volleyball team (13-16, 7-12 CACC) fell in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play to the Rams of Philadelphia University (14-14, 11-7 CACC) in three sets at the Gallagher Center on Tuesday evening.
The set scores for the contest were 25-19, 25-20 and 26-24. The Lightning were led by senior outside hitter
Kadi McCoy (Dallastown H.S./ Dallastown, Pa.) who posted a game high 17 kills to go along with seven digs.
Junior setter
Danielle Cipolletti (Scottsdale H.S./ Scottsdale, Ariz.) posted a "double double" in the loss by assisting on 24 kills and digging out 16 attack attempts by the Rams.
Senior outside hitter
Taylor Moyer (Blue Mountain H.S./ Schuykil Haven, Pa.) posted a .429 hitting percentage while notching six kills in 14 attack attempts with zero attack errors. It is the third time this season Moyer has posted at least five kills with no attack errors.
The Lightning will wrap up their 2014 season when they travel to Bowie State University on Thursday evening for a 7:00 PM match.
