 The Bloomfield College Bears (5-8, 5-4 CACC) defeated the Goldey-Beacom College Lightning (7-7, 5-4 CACC) on Saturday afternoon at Foley Field, 2-1, with the game winning golden goal coming off the foot of junior forward Marin Jonjic (Prirodoslovno Tehnicka /Podstrana, Croatia) with 33 seconds left in the first overtime period.

The Lightning jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 43rd minute when senior forward Luiz Ristow (Positivo Joinville /Joinville, Brazil) tapped in his 12th goal of the season off of a corner kick taken by Alvaro Martinez (Ramon Pignatelli /Zaragoza, Spain). Martinez was credited with his first assist of the season.

The Lightning held the lead until the 74th minute when Bears midfielder Charles Crischlow (Bayside /Brooklyn, N.Y.) was able to net his third goal of the season passed the sprawling attempt of Lightning goalkeeper Marcus Arrvidsson (Danderyds Gymnasium /Taby, Sweden). Arrvidsson posted a career high eleven saves, many of which came in the final minutes of regulation to force overtime.

With 33 seconds remaining in the overtime period, Jonjic chipped a ball over the outstretched hand of Arrvidsson for the 2-1 win.

With Ristow's goal, he moved into a tie for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference lead in goals. With 12 goals on the season, Ristow moved into a tie for sixth place in NCAA Division II.

The Lightning will look to break a two game losing streak on Wednesday afternoon when the travel to Chesnut Hill College for a CACC match starting at 4:00 PM.
