Complete Millersville University Metrics Meet Results (Apr. 6, 2013)
MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Led by a strong effort from freshman
Valarie Orth (Schalick H.S./Pittsgrove, N.J.), members of the Goldey-Beacom College cross country team participated in the 31st annual Millersville University Metrics Meet at Biemesderfer Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Orth competed in a pair of events at the meet. She posted a time of 18.31 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles before recording a distance of 35.79 meters in the javelin throw.
Meanwhile, senior
Alyssa Murray (Hodgson Vo-Tech H.S./Townsend, Del.) recorded a time of 14.75 seconds in the 100-meter dash along with a mark of 29.83 seconds in the 200-meter dash. Junior
Tigan Frisby (Mt. Pleasant H.S./Claymont, Del.) joined Murray in the 200-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 29.01 seconds.
Senior
Felicia Justice (Clearfield H.S./West Point, Utah) posted a time of 1:03.78 in the 400-meter dash while freshman
Leshae Lee (Joppatowne H.S./Edgewood, Md.) turned in a time of 1:19.86 in the event.
Junior
Carly Mitchell (Elkton H.S./Elkton, Md.) and freshman
Sarah Gryzbowski (Concord H.S./Wilmington, Del.) ran in the 800-meter dash and finished the event in times of 2:57.68 and 2:58.99, respectively.
