Complete Danny Curran Invitational Results
CHESTER, Pa. - Led by freshman
Valarie Orth (Schalick H.S./Pittsgrove, N.J.), members of the Goldey-Beacom College women's cross country team competed at the non-scoring Danny Curran Invitational at Leslie C. Quick, Jr. Stadium on Friday afternoon.
Orth posted a 13th place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.99 seconds while also earning 39th place in the 200-meter dash after crossing the finish line in 29.74 seconds.
Meanwhile, senior
Alyssa Murray (Hodgson Vo-Tech H.S./Townsend, Del.) finished in 28th place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.95 seconds while junior
Carly Mitchell (Elkton H.S./Elkton, Md.) posted a time of 3:02.77 in the 800-meter run, good for 57th place.
Freshman
Samia Blassengale (Delcastle H.S./Newark, Del.) finished the 200-meter dash in a time of 32.23 seconds while posting a time of 3:08.62 in the 800-meter run. Freshman
Sarah Gryzbowski (Concord H.S./Wilmington, Del.) also competed in a pair of events, turning in a time of 1:20.25 in the 400-meter dash and a time of 6:34.12 in the 1500-meter run.
Senior
Elizabeth Williams (A.I. duPont H.S./Wilmington, Del.) and freshman
Leshae Lee (Joppatowne H.S./Edgewood, Md.) also competed in the 800-meter run, finishing in 61st and 62nd places, respectively.
