WATERBURY, Conn. - Junior outside hitter Kadi McCoy (Dallastown H.S./Dallastown, Pa.) nearly recorded a "triple double" with 11 kills, 14 digs and nine assists, but it was not enough to overcome a strong performance from Post University (6-20, 6-11) as the Eagles celebrated Senior Day with a four-set victory over Goldey-Beacom College (5-21, 0-17) at the Drubner Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles, who won for the second time in as many days, claimed the first two sets by scores of 25-14 and 25-14, respectively. After the Lightning earned a 28-26 victory in the third set, the Eagles answered by taking the fourth set by a 25-13 margin for the victory.

McCoy was one of two Goldey-Beacom players to record a "double double" against the Eagles as senior opposite Roni Peters (Leonardtown H.S./Leonardtown, Md.) contributed 18 assists with 10 digs in addition to five kills. Meanwhile, junior outside hitter Taylor Moyer (Blue Mountain H.S./Schuylkill Haven, Pa.) tallied seven kills with three blocks and four digs.

Freshman outside hitter Morgan Griffin (Plainfield H.S./Plainfield, Conn.) led Post to the victory with 12 kills while adding six digs and three service aces while junior setter Julia Slyaktina (Moscow, Rusia) earned a "double double" after recording a match-high 38 assists with 14 digs.

The Lightning, who have lost four matches in a row, will begin a season-ending three-match homestand on Tuesday night when they host Lincoln University in their final non-conference match of the season. Opening serve is slated for 7 p.m.
