WILMINGTON, Del. – Freshman outside hitter McKenzie John (Lafayette H.S./Lafayette, La.) recorded a match-high 14 kills and hit .364 with 16 digs to lead Dominican College (4-13, 4-3) to its third win in the last four matches, a three-set Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over Goldey-Beacom College (4-10, 0-6) at the Joseph West Jones College Center on Saturday afternoon.

The Chargers, who are the defending CACC champions, earned the win by set scores of 25-20, 25-19 and 25-18.

John earned her sixth "double double" of the season while recording just two attack errors in 33 attempts. She also added a block for the Chargers, who tallied 7.0 team blocks.

Meanwhile, sophomore outside hitter Tori Dexter (Selah H.S./Selah, Wash.) added nine kills with six digs while freshman libero Angela Kim (Cherokee H.S./Marlton, N.J.) contributed 14 digs.

Junior outside hitter Kadi McCoy (Dallastown H.S./Dallastown, Pa.) led the Lightning with her fifth "double double" of the season after posting 13 kills and 12 digs. She also added one of the Lightning's three service aces.

Junior outside hitter Taylor Moyer (Blue Mountain H.S./Schuylkill Haven, Pa.) added nine kills for the Lightning, who suffered their third straight loss.

Goldey-Beacom will travel to Philadelphia University on Wednesday, Oct. 9 for a 6 p.m. CACC match against the Rams. Meanwhile, the Chargers will host Caldwell College at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night.
