PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Junior right side hitter Kaitlyn Schock (Allentown Central Catholic H.S./Allentown, Pa.) posted a match-high 13 kills and contributed a .419 hitting percentage as Chestnut Hill College (7-14, 5-5) snapped a four-match losing streak by earning a four-set Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory over Goldey-Beacom College (4-15, 0-11) at the Griffins' Sorgenti Arena on Thursday evening.

The Griffins, who earned a sweep of the season series against the Lightning, recorded the victory by set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 24-26 and 25-15.

Schock, who did not record an attack error in 31 attempts, was one of two Chestnut Hill players to record 10 or more kills. Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Biro (Nazareth Area H.S./Nazareth, Pa.) contributed 10 kills with two blocks and a .318 hitting percentage.

Meanwhile, freshman setter Emily Drew (Hunterdon Central H.S./Ringoes, N.J.) added a "double double" with a match-high 45 assists and 13 digs while freshman libero Regina Trabosh (Mount St. Joseph's Academy/Norristown, Pa.) tallied a match-high 24 digs.

For the second straight match, junior outside hitter Kadi McCoy (Dallastown H.S./Dallastown, Pa.) led the Lightning with a "triple double" after a 13-kill, 12-assist and 10-dig effort. Senior setter Roni Peters (Leonardtown H.S./Leonardtown, Md.) earned a "double double" after she posted 18 assists with 12 digs.

Junior defensive specialist Niki Receveur (Concord H.S./Wilmington, Del.) anchored the Lightning's defensive effort with a season-high 17 digs.  

The Lightning, who have lost nine matches in a row, will begin a four-match homestand on Saturday, Oct. 19 by hosting Bloomfield College in a CACC match at 12 p.m.
