PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Senior
Elizabeth Williams (A.I. duPont H.S./Wilmington, Del.) finished in 53rd place to lead the Goldey-Beacom College women's cross country team to a 12th place team finish at the 2012 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship Meet at the Belmont Plateau on Sunday morning.
The Lightning's top finisher for the seventh straight meet, Williams finished the race in a time of 23:58 as the Lightning tallied 303 points. Philadelphia University won its fourth straight CACC title after scoring 44 points.

Felicia Justice (Clearfield H.S./West Point, Utah) followed in 57th place after recording a time of 24:42 while freshman
Sarah Grzybowski (Concord H.S./Wilmington, Del.) followed in 62nd place with a time of 25:08.
Freshman
Valarie Orth (Schalick H.S./Pittsgrove, N.J.) earned 63rd place with a time of 25:27 while senior
Alyssa Murray (Townsend, Del./Hodgson Vo-Tech H.S.) placed 68th after crossing the finish line in 26 minutes, 10 seconds.
Freshman
Samia Blassengale (Delcastle H.S./Newark, Del.) finished in 72nd place after recording a time of 27:16.
The Lightning will compete in the MASC Championship on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at Lums Pond State Park.
