GBC Women's Cross Country Team Shatters Records Again at Towson Track Meet

TOWSON, Md. – Members of the Goldey-Beacom College men's and women's cross country teams shattered school track records for the second consecutive week on Sat. at the Towson University Invitational.
On the men's side, junior Ben Kinley set a new school record in the 1500-meter dash, finishing with a time of 4:23.
Meanwhile, freshman Stewart Reich was right behind Kinley with a 4:29 and is now second on the school's all-time list. Reich's 2:07 time in the 800-meter was good for fifth all-time.
Freshman Brandon Turner also moved into second on the school's all-time record list in the 200-meter dash with a 24.1 second finish.
Additionally, the 4x4-relay team of Reich, sophomore David Zartler, freshman Jabari Chambers and junior Paul Graybeal finished with a 3:44 which ranks third on the school's all-time list.
For the women, sophomore Liz Williams set a new school record in the 1500-meter dash with a 5:42. Williams also took second place on the school's all-time list in the 5K with a 22:14.
Freshman Symone Stewart is now third all-time in the 400-meter after her 1:10 finish and sophomore Alyssa Murray moved into fourth all-time in the 200-meter with a 29.7.
