GBC Women’s Cross Country Completes Season at NCAA East Regional

BOSTON – The Goldey-Beacom College women's cross country team completed its 2010 season as three runners competed in the 28-team NCAA Division II East Regional 6K event at Franklin Park on Sun. afternoon.

Leading the Lightning was sophomore Elizabeth Williams who placed 149^th with a time of 27:38 (7:25 pace). Sophomore Alyssa Murray was next for GBC, coming in at 30:44 (8:15) for 172^nd place.

Senior Brittney Murray, running in the last race of her career at Goldey-Beacom, finished in 174^th with a time of 30:54.

This meet completes the Lightning's 2010 season.
