WATERBURY, Conn. – The Goldey-Beacom College men's soccer team fell 4-0 at Post University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play on Sat. afternoon.

The Lightning fell to 3-12 overall on the season and 2-8 in conference play while Post improved to 6-8-2 overall and 5-4-1 in the CACC.

GBC took two shots in what was a very competitive first half that saw the Lightning go into the break down just 1-0.

The Eagles outshot the Lightning 6-0 in the second half, however, and cushioned their lead with three more goals.

Freshman Carlos Meinhard earned his first start of the season in goal for the injured Ignacio Farias. He made three saves and allowed four goals in 90 minutes of work.
