La Plume, PA – Women's Cross Country takes on “toughest course in America”

The Lightning Women's Cross Country team traveled to Keystone College to take on the “toughest cross country course in America.”  The team finished in 5^th place on the 6k (3.75 miles) course.  Thesalie Miller led the Lightning with a time of 34:52 for 19^th place.  Brittney Murray and Marie Fountain were close behind finishing in 25^th and 26^th places respectively.  Nitasia Dupree and Myishea Hales rounded out the Lightning's roster in 29^th and 30^th places.  The Lightning will run next at Hunter College on September 14^th.
