Caldwell, NJ – Lightning Volleyball drop match to Caldwell

The Lightning volleyball team traveled to Caldwell, NJ today for a CACC match against Caldwell College.  The Lightning started out the match struggling in their serve receive, but climbed back and held a short lead, before dropping the first set 25-19.

In the second set, the Lightning attempted to even things up against Caldwell, but struggled against their hitting and dropped the set 25-16.

In the third set, the Lightning was unsuccessful again against the Caldwell serve, and was unable to climb back into the set. The Lightning dropped the final set 25-11, and fall to 6-6 overall and 2-3 in the CACC.

The Lightning will travel to Philadelphia University on Tuesday, September 30, 2008.
