Orangeburg, NY – Men's Soccer drops first CACC game to Dominican

The men's soccer team traveled to Dominican College today for their first CACC game.  Dave Nimroozi scored the first goal of the game, and his second of the season, with a shot that went into the bottom left corner of the net.  Shortly after,  Rob Cann scored the Lightning's second goal of the game.  At the end of the first half, Goldey-Beacom was leading Dominican 2-1.

However, Dominican scored two second-half goals and won the game 3-2. 

Goldey-Beacom College goalkeeper Garret Shuler recorded 8 saves for the game. 

The Lightning will next play host to Kutztown University on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 4:00pm.
