Sparkill, NY – Lightning men's soccer continue their good play but fall short to St. Thomas Aquinas College

The Lightning men's soccer team traveled to New York for a non-conference face off against St. Thomas Aquinas College.  The Lightning went out strong against their opponent but it was not long before they would score.  St. Thomas was the first to score in the game.  Shortly after the first goal of the game St. Thomas scored once more.  St. Thomas' scoring would end there for their game.

The Lightning continued to play well and in the second half a rebound goal from Kwame Appiah to Kacim Amid put the Lightning on the score board.  The Lightning unfortunately scored too late and dropped the game to St. Thomas.

Goalkeeper Garret Shuler recorded 10 saves for the Lightning.  The Lightning will next go head to head with Dominican College on Saturday, Sept 20th at Dominican at 12:00pm.
