Waterbury, CT – Volleyball drops two at Post University

The Lightning volleyball team traveled to Waterbury, Connecticut for a tri-match with host Post University and St Anselm's College. 

The Lightning would first face off against Post University.  The Lightning struggled against Post's serves and attacks, and fell in three straight 25-14, 25-20, 25-12.  Leading the Lightning was Christine Hudock with 5 kills and 11 digs. 

The Lightning would next face off against St. Anselm's College.  The team continued to struggle, and dropped the match in three sets 25-13, 25-18, 25-11. 

Leading the Lightning on the day was Christine Hudock with 12 kills and 16 digs, while AJ Hicks added 20 digs, and Roni Shaner provided 29 assists, 8 digs and 3 service aces. 

The Lightning will next face off at Molloy College on Sunday, November 2, 2008 and then return home for the season finale against Lincoln University on Tuesday, November 4 at 7:00pm.
