Wilmington, DE – Women's Cross Country runs hard at GBC Fall Classic
The Lightning women's cross-country team hosted their yearly meet today, the Goldey-Beacom College Fall Cross Country Classic, and finished in 12th place overall.
Thesalie Miller led the Lightning with a time of 24:28.6 which placed her in 56th position overall. Brittney Murray was close behind in 64th place with a time 25:03.4. Marie Fountain finished in 76th place with a time of 26:07.8, while newcomer Aigul Kalykova ran 30:27.9, which was good for 97th place. Myishea Hales and Nitasia Dupree finished in 99th and 100th places respectively. Dacia Williams rounded out the Lightning finishers with a time of 36:22.8.
The women will run next weekend at the Cabrini College Invitational on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Belmont Plateau.
