Wilmington, DE – Men's Soccer battles with Philadelphia University

On Thursday afternoon, the Goldey-Beacom College men's soccer team took on Philadelphia University in their last home game of the season. 

Despite holding an edge in shots (23-22) and corners (6-3), the Lightning was unable to convert their opportunities against Philadelphia University goalkeeper Charles Custer, and dropped the game 1-0.

Goalkeeper Garret Shuler led Goldey-Beacom College with 9 saves in goal. 

The Lightning will next travel to Post University on Saturday, November 1, for the season finale.
