Philadelphia, PA – Women's Cross-Country finishes 11th at CACC Championships
On Saturday, the Goldey-Beacom College women's cross-country team traveled one more time to Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia this season, for the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships.
Senior Thesalie Miller led the Lady Lightning on the course with a time of 24:25.28, and finishing in 49th place. Brittney Murray was next to cross the finish line in 61st place, with a time of 26:10.90, with Marie Fountain close behind in 67th place with a time of 26:36.55. Rounding out the Lightning team was Myishea Hales in 78th place and Nitasia Dupree in 80th place. The team finished in 11th place overall.
The Lightning will finish out their season running in the NCAA East Regional Meet in Boston, Massachusetts on November 8, 2008.
