Women's Cross Country continues to improve at Cabrini Invite

Philadelphia, PA – Women's Cross-Country continues to improve at Cabrini Invitational


The Lightning women's cross-country ran today at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia at the Cabrini College Invitational, and finished in 16th place overall.  In doing so, they became the fifth fastest team in Goldey-Beacom College history.

 

Thesalie Miller led the charge with a time of 23:40, followed by Brittney Murray, 25:10, and Marie Fountain, 26:28.  Nitasia Dupree improved her best time, with a time of 28:46.  Rounding out the Lightning were newcomers Aigul Kalykova and Myishea Hales with times of 29:42 and 31:21 respectively. 

 

The Lightning will travel back to Belmont Plateau in two weeks for the CACC conference meet.
