Juli Greep will serve the 2026 season as Goldey-Beacom's Director of Softball Operations and Pitching Coach.

Goldey-Beacom's softball program was the furthest thing from relevant when Juli Greep took over as head coach in 2022. Through plenty of hard work, dedication and belief, the team has exceeded the expectations of all and looks to build off what was a memorable 2025 campaign.

That 2025 season (40-16) provided history, pride and memories that will live for many years. The squad notched the most single-season victories for any team in the Athletic Department's 35-year history, became the first GBC program to host an NCAA Tournament event on the Pike Creek campus and played in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history.

The Lightning also made the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament in three consecutive seasons for the first time in 19 years and won multiple games in said tournament in back-to-back seasons for the first time.

The team saw five players named all-conference, Caitlyn Burch and Wynter Radcliffe picked All-East Region by two organizations and Ariana Mirenda tabbed all-region by one.

The 2024 season produced the team ending third at the CACC Tournament for its best such finish since 2005. It also saw the squad get back to the league's championship weekend and display a newfound sense of confidence that is contagious among all in the College.

The 2023 campaign (32-23) was a huge one for Greep and the program. The squad put forth a campaign in which it recorded the most victories since getting a school-record 37 during the 1998 season, notched the fourth 30-win season in program annals, played tough in all three games against perennial stalwart Wilmington (DE) and got a huge win March 31 against a strong Caldwell squad.

Greep arrived at GBC in 2021-22 and immediately instituted a culture change, resulting in a 24-21 record that was the first winning mark and most overall wins both since 2005. That year also was highlighted by second baseman Carly Setting being named second team All-CACC.

The change in philosophy, practice methods and team camaraderie was obvious even to the most casual fan and that renewed sense has many believing the program continues to be on the upswing.

Greep enters following a successful 10-year run at Wesley College in which she leaves as the program’s winningest coach with 168 triumphs. Her arrival in 2012 produced an 11-game increase in victories for the highest in Division III that year. By the time she left, nearly all single-season and career records in program history had been shattered and she had the top winning percentage of all active women’s teams and previous softball coaches at the College.

Greep’s run produced the first female student-athlete in Wesley history to be named CoSIDA Academic All-America in addition to three CoSIDA All-Region picks, 41 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-American Scholar-Athletes and 45 Capital Athletic Conference Academic All-Conference honorees.

The Wolverines also had four NFCA All-Region players, three tabbed All-ECAC, three Wesley College Female Athletes of the Year and 16 all-conference picks between the CAC and the Atlantic East Conference.

Greep in 2019 was honored as the Atlantic East’s Coach of the Year with Wesley advancing to the conference final.

Greep also was Wesley’s Senior Woman Administrator and its Assistant Director of Athletics from 2016-19 before her 2020 promotion to Associate Director of Athletics. She was an adjunct professor in the Physical Education Department, a student-teacher supervisor, a SAAC advisor, assisted with compliance and verification of transfers, was the Athletics Hall of Fame director of ceremonies and helped create the Atlantic East’s softball guidelines.

She also coached from 2009-11 at Keystone College, recording more victories in that time than the previous seven years combined, and also helped re-establish the school’s volleyball program. She had 10 All-Colonial States Athletic Conference players, 19 Academic All-Conference student-athletes, was an adjunct professor, initiated community service projects and supervised work-study students.

Greep played her college ball at McPherson College in Kansas, earning All-Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) honors each of her four years. She was a two-time All-KCAC pitcher, a first team All-KCAC first baseman and an All-KCAC utility player. The Bulldogs in 2003 won the KCAC Championship and in 2004 set the program record for single-season wins.

Greep graduated McPherson College in 2004 with a B.S. in Physical Education K-12 before earning her M.S. in 2010 from Emporia State University in Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
