Joe Dare in 2025 took Goldey-Beacom's track & field programs to incredible heights not even imagined.  The teams look to continue that ascent as the 2026 campaign embarks.

The men's track & field team simply was amazing at the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship, receiving key places from seemingly everyone to capture the program's first league crown.  The women's team also had outstanding individual performance in closing a team-best third.

The men's team finished with four athletes named All-East Region, Jalen Wright picked CACC Men's Track Athlete of the Year, Ty'Shawn Ewings picked Men's Field Rookie of the Year and Ryley Dixon named Women's Track Rookie of the Year.  Dixon also was tabbed All-East Region.

For his efforts, Dare also was named the league's Men's Coach of the Year.

The 2024 campaign saw Ashwin Jood become the first in either program to be named All-America.  Running in the 400-meter dash, Jood got through his preliminary race and then a runoff to secure a spot in the final.  Jood that season also was named United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association East Region Men's Track Athlete of the Year and CACC Men's Track Athlete of the Year.

The men's squad that season also closed third at the CACC Championship for its best finish in school history.

Dare from 2019-22 served as the head coach at Gwynedd Mercy University, sporting 31 individuals during his time that either finished first or second in the Atlantic East Conference Championships.  He had an All-America in the men’s high jump, twice had the school’s Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, once such for the Men and last spring had the conference’s Male Athlete of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year and the Men’s Rookie of the Year.

Prior to that, Dare for two years was the head women’s cross country coach and the track & field assistant both for the men and women at Stockton University.  He created the workouts drills and progressions for a squad that recorded an All-American in women’s cross country.  Dare also guided 30 runners who were pick all-league by the New Jersey Athletic Conference, saw seven break school records and a men’s track & field squad that cracked the top 25 in 2018.

Dare also monitored the program’s study hall and organized the Atlantic City Marathon/Half Marathon.

He also was the cross country coach at Cabrini from 2014-17, developing all workouts during that stretch and helped produce four all-conference runners.

Dare earned his B.S. in Business Management from La Salle University in 2008 and his M.S. in Leadership from Cabrini University in 2016.
