George "Packer" Larson is in his fifth year as Goldey-Beacom's Strength and Conditioning Coach.

Larson arrived from West Chester University, where he served since 2016 as its first strength and conditioning coach.  During his time, he obtained a $5,000 grant from the University for equipment upgrades in the basketball/volleyball weight room, reorganized all of existing rooms for safety reasons, received grants to create nutrition carts and created a social media platform for increased exposure.

Larson for just over a year also was an adjunct professor at West Chester in Kinesiology.

Prior to his time with the Rams, Larson was the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the University of Delaware.  He designed the workout programs for multiple teams and assisted with the football squad's year-round program.  He organized "Reps for Kids" as part of his charitable work, was responsible for numerous posts on social media regarding the University's strength and conditioning success and also executed his own plan of reorganizing Delaware's weight room.

Larson also was a graduate assistant in strength and conditioning at UD from 2012-14, interned in athletics performance at the University of Missouri in late 2011 and interned in strength and conditioning with UD in early 2011.

Larson graduated from the University of Delaware in 2011 with a B.S. in Health Behavior Sciences and a minor in Strength and Conditioning after beginning his undergraduate education at Gettysburg College.  He received his Master of Science-Exercise Physiology from UD in 2014.
