    Head Cross Country/Assistant Track & Field Coach
Dylan Kaplan is in his first season as an assistant cross country coach at Goldey-Beacom.
 
Kaplan arrives after serving three seasons as the head coach at Cecil College.  Part of his legacy includes helping three student-athletes from the 2020 campaign to 100 percent NCAA Division I scholarships and two to 75 percent Division II scholarships.  He also trained five to automatic qualifying times for the 2022 NJCCA Division II National Championship, supervised a staff of three that helped handle all aspects of the program and served as a member of the USTFCCCA East Central Region Ranking Committee.
 
He also spent three seasons as an Assistant Track & Field coach at Delaware State University.  He designed javelin workouts for eight student-athletes, coached the third-place finisher at the 2017 and 2018 MEAC Championship and created the “Sponsor a Hornet” fundraiser for team donors.
 
Kaplan was at Wesley College for five years in various roles that includes assistant Track & Field coach, Director of Operations and Recruiting, Assistant Sports Information Director and Interim Sports Information Director.  He helped coach 15 NCAA All-Americas, 23 NCAA qualifiers, 35 CAC champions and handled all aspects of the Sports Information Office.
 
He is a Communications Specialist for Phillips & Cohen Services after serving as a Special Projects Specialist and Technical Writer for Fantini Research.
 
Kaplan graduated Wesley College in 2017 with a BA in Multimedia Communications, earned his MS in College Athletic Administration from Northeastern University in 2020 and is working on his Doctor of Education from the University of Phoenix.
