Tanner Turner-Rush

Tanner Turner-Rush is in her first season as an assistant coach for Goldey-Beacom’s women’s basketball team.

A prolific two-sport athlete, Turner-Rush during her basketball career ended fourth in school history with 158 three-pointers, sixth with 140 steals, seventh with a .761 free throw percentage, 10th with 949 points, 10th with 511 rebounds and 10th with 343 field goals.  She led the team to two Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament berths, including the 2019 semifinals by virtue of Goldey-Beacom's upset of North Division champion Dominican (NY) in the quarterfinals, and was a three-time member of the CACC Academic Honor Roll.

The College’s 2018 nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year also exceled with the soccer team.  She was tabbed second team All-CACC in 2017 and a three-time member of the CACC Academic Honor Roll.  Turner-Rush led the squad to four CACC Tournament berths that included the 2014 semifinals and started all 72 games she played.

Turner-Rush since 2018 has served as a senior accountant for Hatzel and Buehler, Inc., handling account reconciliation, prepare journal entries and financial statements and processing credit card payments among her many duties.  She also has worked as a financial settlement specialist for WSFS Bank and a financial representative for Northwestern Mutual.

Turner-Rush and her husband, former GBC men’s basketball standout Jarrel Lane, live in Middletown with their son, Jrue.  She earned both her undergraduate degree and MBA from Goldey-Beacom, graduating cum laude.
