    Assistant Track & Field/Cross Country Coach
Antwain Flowers joined Goldey-Beacom in 2026 as an assistant coach for track & field and cross country.
 
Flowers competed in the 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash and the 800-meter run at the Charter School of Wilmington.  He ran at Bethune-Cookman University before earning his B.S. from the University of Delaware in Education and Human Services.
 
Flowers in 2017 started coaching at A.I. du Pont High School, leading the team to three state championships (2018, 2019 and 2023).  His was tabbed DIAA Indoor Coach of the Year, DIAA Outdoor Coach of the Year and New Castle County Coach of the Year in leading multiple athletes to DIAA, Blue Hen Conference and New Castle County championships.
 
He is the founder of Above Xpectations Track Club, which captured the 2022 AAU Club National Championship against more than 500 teams that included international programs.  Flowers in 2010 began work at West End Neighborhood House as a Game Room Specialist.
