Lee Sibley

Lee Sibley is in his second season as an assistant coach for Goldey-Beacom.
 
Sibley brings to the Lightning a healthy resume that includes 16 years as boys’ basketball coach at St. Mark’s High School.  One of the most respected people in the coaching circle, Sibley led the Spartans to a state championship in 1995, and was picked Delaware’s Coach of the Year in both 1994 and 1995.  He also was an assistant football coach for the Spartans, helping them to the 2010 state title.
 
Sibley was an assistant basketball coach for Brandywine High School from 1978-80, helping it to a state crown, an assistant football coach at Wilmington Friends School from 1980-88 and an assistant basketball coach at Washington (MD) College in 1978.  He also has coaching experience in track & field, softball, lacrosse and tennis.
 
He presently is a social studies teacher at St. Mark’s High School.
 
Sibley graduated the University of Delaware in 1971 and received his M.Ed. from the University of Maine in 1975.
