High School: Four-year varsity letter-winner for Sterling High School's girls' basketball team under Kate McDonald...scored over 1,000 points in her career...was named All-Group 2 South Jersey and First Team All-Conference...led her team to the 2010-11 and 2009-10 Colonial Conference Championships...honor student and member of the World Honor Society and Languae Club.

Personal: Monica "Monnie" Burch...came to GBC because "the school and its environment is great...I can receive a good education, and it's not too far for my parents to come attend my basketball games"...chose to play Division II athletics because "I think it fits my basketball ability at the moment"...describes herself as "quiet"...enjoys playing basketball, texting, and haging out with her family and friends...high school teammate of Kylie O'Donnel (TCNJ) and Racael Hodge (Rutgers Camden).
