Goldey-Beacom entered Logan Township, NJ looking for big performances in its second meet of the season and accomplished that at the Bill Fritz Invitational.

The men's team won with 17 points by grabbing the first four scoring places with the champion being an unattached runner.

Junior Aquillino Rozanski (Olympia, WA) was second over the six kilometers in 23:54.7, Cody Wiseman (Middletown, DE) ended third in 24:08.5, fellow freshman Brad Sears (Ashland, VA) closed fifth in 25:41.0, sophomore Anthony Papiro (Bear, DE) was eighth in 27:51.0 and junior Jalen Wright (Wilmington, DE) ended 11th in 28:25.0.

The women's unit was second with 54 points and featured another individual champion with an unattached unit.

Freshman Amelia Jones (Dudley, England) continued what has been an impressive debut campaign, closing second in 15:44.9 one week after being named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll.  Sophomore Lara Zinsou-Bode (Reinbek, Germany) was 16th in 18:30.0, Ana Thaler (Ljubljana, Slovenia) ended 20th in 20:58.1, fellow sophomore Anna Pissarotti (Piacenza, Italy) finished 21st in 20:58.4 and freshman Destiny Ceballos (Piscataway, NJ) was 23rd in 21:18.7.

Goldey-Beacom is back on the course September 26 at the Purple and Gold Open in Unionville, PA.  Though not yet announced, this event traditionally is held at Unionville High School.
