Goldey-Beacom Cross Country traveled to Ewing, NJ to compete in the Herb Lorenz Invitational. The men's squad took home second place with a team score of 32, only two points behind the host and first-place TCNJ.

Goldey-Beacom finished first, second and third in the men's 6000-meter race, with junior John Ferry (Rising Sun, Md.) placing first individually with a time of 19:30.00, senior Kosiani Dunkley (Saint Catherine, Jamaica) taking second with a time of 19:52.50, and freshman Eerik Nou Wihlborg took third with a time of 19:56.20.

Sophomore Manny Carreno (New Castle, De) placed 14th overall with a time of 21:37.70, freshman Raine Siwicki (Martinsville, Va.) got 20th with  22:33.70, junior Felipe Henao (Bogota, Colombia) finished 23rd in 23:22.00, freshman Anthony Papiro (Bear, De) placed 33rd with a time of 25:56.80, and freshman Matt Haight (Bear, De) finished 39th with 28:41.30.

The women's side only saw three runners compete in the 5000-meter race, with senior Haley Schofield (Wilmington, De) placing ninth with a time of 21:35.80, freshman Ana Thaler (Slovenia) finishing 35th in 27:34.10, and sophomore Aiyanna Adams (Pittsburgh, Pa) coming in 36th in 27:34.50.

Both teams are back in action on Friday at the Delaware Invitational in Newark, De, with the women racing at 9:00am and the men beginning at 9:45am.
