Cross Country Partakes in the Paul Short Run

Goldey-Beacom's cross country squads made their way to Lehigh University to compete in the open races at the prestigious Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, PA.
 
Junior John Ferry (Rising Sun, MD) continued his stellar campaign, running the challenging eight-kilometer course in 26:10.4.  This race featured 599 harriers that included many from Division I schools.
 
Senior Kosiani Dunkley (Saint Catherine, Jamaica) closed in 26:47.9, freshman Eerik Nou Wihlborg (Helsingborg, Sweden) ended in 27:21.6, sophomore Manny Carreno (New Castle, DE) ran in 28:54.3, freshman Raine Siwicki (Martinsville, VA) finished in 30:16.2 and sophomore Aquillino Rozanski (Olympia, WA) ended in 30:50.5.
 
Senior Haley Schofield (Wilmington, DE) ran the six-kilometer women's race in 26:08.9.  This journey had 462 participants and also featured many from Division I institutions.
 
Freshmen Lara Zinsou-Bode (Reinbek, Germany) and Anna Pissarotti each ran in 29:35.1, Ana Thaler closed in 31:49.8, sophomore Ayianna Adams (Pittsburgh, PA) finished in 32:55.5 and senior Kaylah Hill (Brooklyn, NY) ended in 33;42.5.
 
Goldey-Beacom next Saturday the 11th will be at the Golden Ram Invitational, marking the second time this season it will compete at Unionville High School.  It is the final race before the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships on October 26.
