A strong first week for Goldey-Beacom Athletics produced five picked for weekly honors from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

Freshman John Ferry (Rising Sun, MD) was named the Men's Cross Country Rookie of the Week, junior Kosiani Dunkley (Kingston, Jamaica) made the sport's Weekly Honor Roll, junior Ny'Jashia Smith (Newark, DE) was picked to the Women's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll with junior Nikki Cashin (Ridley, PA) and freshman Lexy Yeager (West Deptford, NJ) getting on the Women's Soccer Weekly Honor Roll.

The Stockton Season Opener was a productive one for both cross country squads with the men closing fifth and the women ending sixth. Dunkley ended 14th in 19:15.55, Ferry was 35th in 19:58.78 and Smith finished the women's race 37th in 22:47.51.

Cashin played great for Goldey-Beacom in a pair of draws to open the season, making eight saves Thursday in a 0-0 tie vs. Bloomsburg and five Saturday in her squad's 2-2 draw against Millersville. Yeager scored her first collegiate goal to give Goldey-Beacom the lead Saturday vs. Millersville.
