Goldey-Beacom competed at the prestigious Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, PA, with both teams showing significant improvement on six-kilometer and eight-kilometer times.
Junior Zach Landvik-Larsen (East Stroudsburg, PA) continues to lead the way for the men's side, placing 170
th with a time of 27:48.5.
Freshman Colin Kay continues an impressive first collegiate year, running 28.21.9 to place him in 181
st. Junior Chris Crossen (Magnolia, Del.) finished closely behind in 210
th place, running 28:30.2.
Sophomore York Miles (Johannesburg, South Africa) placed 243
rd with a time of 29:11.8, while Junior Kyle Scherer (Wilmington, Del.) finished just one second behind to place 245
th.
On the women's side, sophomore
Maddie Minnick (Wilmington, Del.) again was the lead runner finishing with a time of 26:44.1. Minnick moved up 16 places from the first mile to finish 227
th.
Sophomore
Maddie Cool (Smyrna, Del.) placed 256
th with a time of 27:31.2, while freshman
Haley Schofield (Wilmington, Del.) moved up 17 places from mile one to place 261
st, running 27:36.3.
