Goldey-Beacom returned to the course for the first time this season by taking part in the Adelphi Panthers Cross Country Invitational.

The Men finished fifth in the eight-kilometer run.  Zach Landvik-Larsen (Stroudsburg, PA) led the way by finishing 19th with a time of 27:45.50.

Sophomore York Miles (Johannesburg, South Africa) followed, finishing 22nd with a time of 27:57.90. Fellow sophomore Micah White (Edison, N.J.) finished in 25th place with a time of 28:02.60.

Junior Chris Crossen (Magnolia, Del.) placed 37th with a time of 28:57.90 and Kyle Scherer (Wilmington, DE) finished with a time of 29:06.80, placing him 40th.

On the women's side, the team placed 10th in the five-kilometer run. 

Freshman Haley Schofield (Wilmington, Del.) finished her first race with a time of 23:35.40, placing her in 37th place. Sophomore Maddie Cool placed 41st with a time of 24:00.40.

Goldey-Beacom will next compete in the Dutchmen Invitational, hosted by Lebanon Valley, on September 10.  The women's race begins at 10:15am and the men begin at 11am.
