(2022 men's schedule) / (2022 women's schedule)

Goldey-Beacom's cross country teams have taken multiple steps forward under the engaging leadership of head coach Andrew Shearer and the squad looks to continue that with the unveiling of the 2022 schedule.

GBC opens things September 2 at the Panthers Invitational in Bethpage, NY, site of this year's NCAA East Regional.  The squads compete September 10 at the Dutchmen Invitational before they host the 20th GBC Fall Classic on September 16 at Carousel Park.

The units then compete September 30 at the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, PA and the Border Battle on October 15 in Logan Township, NJ.  The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championships are October 30 at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia and the NCAA East Regionals are November 19.

Junior Zach Landvik-Larsen (Stroudsburg, PA) once again will be looked to as one of the squad's top harriers after closing last year with four top-10 finishes and six top-20 showings.  He has started all 14 meets over the last two campaigns (2019, 2021) and in 2019 was named the CACC Rookie of the Year as well as all-conference.

Sophomore Michael Marioni (Glendora, NJ) had a strong debut campaign last season, keeping the squad's point total low and being named September 21 the CACC Rookie of the Week.  He ended fifth at the GBC Fall Classic, 11th at the Delaware Invitational and 35th at the CACC Championship.

Sophomore Micah White (Edison, NJ) also played a key role last season, competing in the last seven meets and giving the squad plenty of hope.  He finished 11th at the GBC Fall Classic, 23rd at the Delaware Invitational and 33rd at the CACC Championship.

Mikayla Cannon (Felton, DE) was more than impressive in her debut campaign a season ago and seeks to continue being one of the Lightning's top student-athletes.  She ended 15th at the GBC Fall Classic, 20th at the Hornet Harrier Invitational and 23rd at the CACC Championship.

Maddie Cool (Smyrna, DE) was another debutant who brought cohesion to a promising lineup and once again is back to help the program continue moving forward.  She closed last season 25th at the CACC Championship, 25th at the Delaware Invitational and 28th on two occasions.

Junior Lilly Crone (Felton, DE) has run all 14 races during her time with the Lightning and again hopes to build on her growing success.  She finished last season 35th at the GBC Fall Classic, 39th at the Delaware Invitational, 42nd at the Hornet Harrier Invitational and 48th at the CACC Championship.

Shearer, entering his sixth season with the teams, has guided the Lightning to continuous progress and is aiming for more of the same in 2022.  The women in 2021 made immense strides by closing sixth at the CACC Championship for its best showing since 2003.  The men ended fourth at the CACC Championship for its best finish in six years and also gained a 17th-place showing at the NCAA East Regional, its best output since 2014.
