Cross Country Competes at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational

Goldey-Beacom Men's & Women's Cross Country took to the trails on Saturday morning competing at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational in Gettysburg, PA.

On the men's side, freshman Zach Landvik-Larsen (Stroudsburg, Pa.) led the way for the Lightning, capturing 27th overall with a time of 28:14.7.

Junior Peter Woelfl (Heilbronn, Germany) placed 32nd in 28:28.5. Woelfl was named last week's CACC Runner of the Week for his fourth-place finish at the Delaware Invite with a time of 28:12.8.

Senior Chris Townsend (Voorhees, N.J.) finished 46th with a time of 29:05.3. Freshman Micah White (Edison, NJ) placed 53rd in 29:30.9.

Goldey-Beacom Men's Cross Country placed eighth overall.

On the women's side, freshman Ny'Jashia Smith (Wilmington, Del.) led the way placing 61st in 27:09.5. Smith was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll this past week for her 14th place finish at the Delaware Invite at a time of 25:49.9.

Freshman Maddie Cool (Wilmington, Del) followed behind, finishing 63rd with a time of 27:18.9. Freshman Mikayla Cannon (Felton, Del) finished 70th at 28:12.5

Sophomore Lilly Crone (Felton, Del) was 80th in 30:36.9.

Goldey-Beacom Women's Cross Country placed 13th overall.

Goldey-Beacom competes in the CACC Championship on Sunday, October 24. The men race at 10 AM and the women race at 9 AM.
