Another solid outing for promising Goldey-Beacom freshman Zach Landvik-Larsen (Stroudsburg, PA) has earned him a second league honor for the year, this time being named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Cross Country Weekly Honor Roll.
This award comes two weeks after he was tabbed the conference's Rookie of the Week.
Landvik-Larsen again made a name for himself, ending second Friday at the GBC Fall Classic in 28:02.1. This helped the men's unit finish second with 67 points, garnering four of the top 17 spots.
It was a more than encouraging day for the Lightning, who also saw the women's unit end third by grabbing five of the top 22 spots. Junior Cara Jones (Wilmington, DE) was 11th in 23:15.6 and freshman Lilly Crone (Felton, DE) was right behind her in 24:01.2.
Goldey-Beacom this Saturday takes to the course at the Hornet Harrier Invitational in Winchester, VA.
