Track and Field Competed in the Millersville Metrics

Goldey-Beacom Men's and Women's Track and Field teams competed in the Millersville Metrics in Millersville, PA.

On the Men's team, Aaron Easter (Elkton, Md.) took second place in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 32:55.14.

Eli Taylor (Smyrna, Del.) competed in the men's discus and got 15^th with a throw of 39.34 meters. Along with Taylor, Jeremy Hartnett (Wilmington, Del.) threw 26.34 meters and Luis Rodriguez (New Castle, Del.) threw 22.81 meters.

Taylor also competed in the men's shot put with a throw of 12.02 meters.

Alex Eaddy (Townsend, Del.) competed in the 100-meter dash and finished with a time of 11.4 seconds. Jono Hooper (Brisbane, Australia) competed in the steeple chase and finished fifth with a time of 10:40.16.

Zavea Brooks-Alexander (Wilmington, Del.) competed in the 200-meter dash and finished with a time of 23.60 seconds.

For the women's team, Chelsey James (Cherry Hill, N.J.) competed in the women's long jump and had a jump of 4.11 and in the triple jump she had a jump of 9.51 meters.

Tamia Davis (New Castle, Del.) competed in the women's shot put with a throw of 9.82 meters. Lex Cheriza (Milford, Del.) also competed in the women's shot put with a throw of 9.57 meters.

Asia Hollis (Rising Sun, Md.) competed in the 100-meter dash and finished with a time of 13.86 seconds.

The women's 4x100 meter relay team of Kayla Cook (Hebron, Md.), Cheriza, Hollis, Shawnae' Sykes (Wilmington, Del.) finished seventh with a time of 52.17.

Aleksey Kilvington (Audubon, N.J.) competed in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 22:43.81.

Goldey-Beacom Men's and Women's Track and Field teams are ack in action on Saturday April 13^th at the Eastern Shore Challenge in Salisbury, MD starting at 11am.
