Track and Field Competed at Day One of the Danny Curran Invitational

Goldey-Beacom Men's and Women's Track and Field opened day one at the Danny Curran Invitational with several events. This is the second ever track meet the teams have competed in.

Aaron Easter (Elkton, Md.) and Jono Hooper (Brisbane, Australia) both ran the 5,000-meter run. Easter ran it in 15:48.77 and Hooper ran it in 16:27.08.

Eli Taylor (Smyrna, Del.) competed in the Men's Discus Throw and threw for 34.14 meter. Taylor also participated in the Men's Shot Put and threw for 11.76 meters.

Alexis Harrison (Millville, N.J.) competed in the Women's Discus Throw and threw for 30.77 meter. Harrison also placed 10^th in the Women's Shot Put with a throw of 11.02 meters.

Alongside Harrison, Tamia Davis (New Castle, Del.) also competed in the Women's Shot Put and threw for 9.55 meter.

Goldey-Beacom Men's and Women's Track and Field teams are back in action on Saturday for the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational starting at 9am in Chester, PA.
