Goldey-Beacom enjoyed yet another successful week with four of its student-athletes tabbed for weekly honors from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.

Freshman Melayna Immediato (Hockessin, DE) was named the league's Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week for women's soccer, senior Marta Lopez (Valencia, Spain) made Women's Soccer's Weekly Honor Roll, sophomore Lindsay Przywara (Williamstown, NJ) was picked to the Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll a second straight week and senior Jono Hooper (Brisbane, Australia) made the Men's Cross Country's Weekly Honor Roll.

Immediato ended her debut week with an impressive two goals and three assists, helping Goldey-Beacom to two wins.  She had a goal and two assists Thursday against Saint Thomas Aquinas in her first collegiate game before getting a goal and an assist Saturday vs. Daemen.

Lopez went 2-0 last week, making five saves to go with a .714 save percentage over 176 minutes.  She notched two saves over 86 scoreless minutes Thursday against Saint Thomas Aquinas before getting three saves in a complete game Saturday vs. Daemen.  In the Daemen game with GBC ahead 3-2 in the 78th minute, Lopez saved a penalty kick that preserved the lead.

The Lightning are 2-0 for the third straight year, a first in the program's history, and are 10-1 in Pike Creek since Nancy Churchman Sawin Field was resurfaced with Bermuda grass before last season.

Przywara closed with 64 kills, 39 digs, five aces and three blocks over five matches.  She had 19 kills and 12 digs against Franklin Pierce, 19 kills vs. Fairmont State and 14 against Salem.  Przywara entered the year ninth in school history with a .219 hitting percentage and is on pace to reach the school's career top-10 kills list before the end of the year.

Hooper closed 18th at the season-opening Panther Invitational in 27:03.2.  Hooper last season was the only one for Goldey-Beacom to compete in all seven meets, posting two top-10 finishes and five top-20 finishes.  He was twice named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll last season.
